Hi, I am Sagar Aryal, a microbiologist and a scientific blogger. I completed my Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from the Central Department of Microbiology, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, in collaboration with Helmholtz-Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS), Saarbrucken, Germany in 2025.
I have been the Founder of Microbe Notes (microbenotes.com) since 2018, an educational platform dedicated to biology and microbiology. In 2024, I expanded my vision by founding Science Info (scienceinfo.com). I am also the Co-founder and Research Head of the Department of Natural Products at the Kathmandu Research Institute for Biological Sciences (KRIBS) since 2017. From February 2015 to June 2019, I shared my expertise as a Lecturer at the Department of Microbiology, St. Xavier’s College in Maitighar, Kathmandu.
Over the course of my career, I have presented scientific findings and built professional networks in more than ten countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, China, and India. To date, I have published over a dozen research articles and book chapters in respected international journals and with reputable publishers. I also bring over 12 years of experience in blogging, content writing, and SEO.
